Use Facebook to the FULLEST! Join Taipei Taiwan Apartment to find a decent apartment. Especially, if you don't have friends in Taiwan. Or use AirBNB!

YOYO CARD 悠遊卡 (Yōuyóu kǎ) 
They come in different colors, and have different looks. You can get them at mostly every store similar to 7-11. It's SO not hard to find. 7-11 is always a few seconds away!

At first I was nervous about the food and getting sick. The first couple days I survived on noodle, soda, and bread from bakeries. But if your careful about where you eat in the states, use the same precautions everywhere. If no one is at the place your about to eat at, don't go there. If it looks TOO dirty and grimy, don't eat there. But don't worry, I've tried these place for you!
